As part of International Day of Care and Support, PYDLOS-DIEP at the University of Cuenca and the ARTRA Foundation are presenting two publications that bring together action research, art, and community-based education. *Manos que crean y arrullan* (Hands That Create and Lull) brings together images, texts, and stories of creative experiences with Afro-descendant, Shuar, and Kichwa communities in Ecuador. The “Kuyana Care Manual: Time to Care” offers tools to strengthen self-care, shared family responsibility, and community networks in rural and Indigenous territories affected by migration. Both works contribute to the recognition of care and the sustenance of life.
