Sustaining Life, Weaving the Future: Challenges and Possibilities of Community Care
Event organized by ALM in collaboration with Barrios de Pie.
Proposal:
This is a roundtable discussion and exchange on community care with representatives from labor unions, academia, local governments, journalists, civil society organizations, and others.
Objective:
To highlight the central role of community care in sustaining life and the women who provide it.
To open a discussion on the challenges and political horizons of community care, promoting collaboration between local organizations, universities, labor unions, political leaders, and other stakeholders in the development of proposals.
