Capacity Building of Sub-Nationals on Institutionalizing Care

The Capacity Building of Sub-Nationals on Institutionalizing Care is an initiative hosted by the Department of Gender Mainstreaming, Cross River State, Nigeria. The event will serve as a knowledge-sharing platform to showcase the experiences, progress, and lessons learned by Cross River State in advancing the institutionalization of care. It will strengthen the capacity of subnational stakeholders to integrate care into government policies, programmes, and development plans while promoting gender-responsive policymaking and sustainable care systems. The engagement will also encourage peer learning, collaboration, and the exchange of practical strategies for recognizing, valuing, and supporting paid and unpaid care work.
