Outreach Campaign: “Time for Women: From the Local Level to Transformative Policies”

The launch of the outreach campaign “Time for Women: From the Local Level to Transformative Policies” will feature three components: a policy brief, an evaluation matrix, and an interactive documentary that document the experience in Río Grande. The campaign will culminate with the presentation of the interactive documentary and the experience of the Municipality of Río Grande on October 21 during the municipal care conference.

Through the campaign’s slogan, “Better Care Transforms Us: A Local Experience to Improve Public Policies,” the aim is to highlight how care policies transform everyday life. Evaluating these policies helps us understand how to improve them and turn a local experience into useful lessons for other regions.

The campaign will consist of four phases:

Week 1: October 7

  • Release of the documentary on YouTube + launch of the interactive documentary website.

The YouTube playlist with all episodes of the documentary can be viewed via this link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHWdvpK4U0ng

Week 2: October 13

  • The policy brief and the Care Policy Evaluation Matrix are available on our website.

Week 3: October 19–21

  • Post on LinkedIn with a link to the evaluation matrix created by Laura Pautassi.
  • ELA sends out a monthly newsletter with updates; the plan is to include the Rio Grande experience there, along with links to the interactive documentary and the documents.
  • Oct. 21: Presentation of the interactive documentary and the experience of the Municipality of Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, presented as part of the 2nd Collaborative Action Research Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean, organized by GRADE at the 4th Municipal Conference on Equitable Care
